Maisie Richardson-Sellers

Maisie is an English actress, hailing from England.She was born on 2nd March 1992. She did her graduation from the University of Oxford in Archaeology and Anthropology. Maisie started acting even before completing her graduation. Her first flick as an actor was “Our First World” which was released in the year 2012. It was basically a short film. She thought to make a trail in that so she can gain some confidence and at the same time, she can show case her talent to directors and producers through these short films. Hence she acted in a couple of short films before getting into the movies.

Her second shot film was “American and Rum”, where she played the guise of Elley. This film was featured in the year 2013. She then started auditioning for movies and TV shows. As a matter of fact, the crew of Star Wars won’t trust an unknown actor or actress for the movie but since they trusted her it will be even more challenging to gain the trust of the crew over there. She was considered for the role of a young black or mixed race woman who will be the daughter of Jedi Knight Ben Kenobi. She has had only a couple of years’ experience till then. Though the crew came forward and opted her, Executive producer Michael Narducci told that the character itself has a great beauty and because of her, the beauty of character just multiplied.

According to her, this was one of the best appreciation that she has got and she will never forget it. Later, after completing the episodes of The Originals, in the year 2016, she started acting in “Of Kings and Prophets”, an Asch drama series. She’s one of the leading traits in that drama. After that, she started acting in “Legends of Tomorrow”. In this, she played the role of a grandmother. This has started in the year 2016 and is on air. She started acting in “The Originals” and became better day-by-day and became a very good actor in very short span of time. Maisie is single and is not dating anyone right now.
