Jill Clayburgh started her acting career on Broadway starring in Henry Bloomstein play “Calling in Crazy” After that she started appearing in numerous other plays on Broadway and later on she got a break as she appeared in her first movie “The Wedding Party” which eventually got released six years after its making. But this film marked the dawn of her recognition and her fine acting skills and eventually won her people’s love and support. She produced another fine acting work in the critically acclaimed romantic drama “Griffin and the Phoenix”. Jill Clayburgh earned her best actress award in Cannes Film Festival for the movie “An Unmarried Woman” which is considered to be the Mecca of global film-making platform, again followed by another award for the film “Starting over”.
