Born in Chicago, Illinois in the USA on February 7, 1977, Hillary Wolf is a former actress famous for her role in the film, Home Alone. She spent her childhood in Lincoln Park in Chicago and attended the Francis W. Parker High School there. Hillary started taking Judo classes when she was seven years old. According to her mother, Marilyn Wolf, Hillary used to accompany her brother, Brett, to Judo classes. After that, all she wanted to do was enroll herself in a Judo club.
Her mother wanted her to join a ballet class, but she was reluctant. Her mother revealed that acting occurred to her at the age of five when one of their family friends spotted her talkativeness. He suggested clicking some pictures of Hillary and distributing it among theaters and modeling agencies. Hillary first appeared in the TV show, A Matter of Principle (1984). She played the role of Lindy Lou Purdy, and although it was a minor role, it was enough to bag roles in other movies and series. Hillary then went ahead to star in a telemovie, First Steps (1985).
She portrayed Missy in this film. After that, she had small roles in various telefilms including Murder Ordained, Sunday Drive, and Help Wanted: Kids. After that she played a minor character in the TV series, I'll Take Manhattan (1987), inspired by a book written by Judith Krantz.
Hillary essayed the part of young Angelica Cipriani. After playing minor roles for several years, she finally landed a lead role in the movie, Home Alone (1990). Hillary portrayed Megan McCallister, sister of Kevin McCallister (played by Macaulay Culkin) in Home Alone. Her portrayal of Megan received many positive reviews and appreciation. After the success of Home Alone, she starred in a lead role in another film, Waiting for the Light (1990) and played the character of Emily.
She then starred in movies like Big Girls Don't Cry…They Get Even (1992) and Home Alone 2 (1992). After that, Hillary quit acting to focus her attention on her studies and Judo. Hillary won her first Judo competition in the year 1991 and bagged the title of U.S. Senior National. She then received a gold medal at the Judo junior world championships. Hillary also participated in the Olympic Games in the year 1996 and 2000. She tied the knots with her boyfriend and gave birth to two sons. She has completely disappeared from the film industry.
