Hayley Atwell is a British American actress. She was born on 5 April 1982 in the London, United Kingdom. Her mother Alison Cain was an American photographer. She did her schooling at Sion-Manning Roman Catholic Girls School and took a level up at London Oratory School. After this, she took two years off to work as a casting director with her father Grant Atwell. Then she studied acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama for three years and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in acting. Atwell made her stage debut in 2005 with a play called ‘Prometheus Bound’ at The Sound Theatre. She appeared in several West End Productions and television shows. She is an adaptable actress who can pull off different kinds of roles with equal ease. Alongside films, and tv and stage shows, she has also featured in video games and worked for the radio. She took a three months course in art history haiku from an open university.
