Gemma Arterton

Gemma was born on January 12th in 1986 in the city of Gravesend in Kent in England. She was born in a very humble family where her mother, Sally Anne worked as a cleaner while her father Barry Arterton, worked as a welder. After her parents got divorced, Gemma's mother singly took care of her children. Gemma attended the Painters Ash Primary School and the Gravesend Grammar School for Girls from where she completed her high school education. 

After high school, Gemma joined Miskin Theatre located in Dartford where she underwent a course in performing arts. After that, she got a full scholarship grant to get trained at the prestigious RADA or Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in England. In 2007, while she was still at the institute, Gemma made her debut appearance in a television film, ‘Capturing Mary’ as ‘Liza’. The same year, Gemma debuted in ‘St. Trinians’ and played the role of ‘Kelly Jones’. She made her stage appearance with Global Theatres also in 2007, in a  Shakespeare's play named ‘ Love Love is an Indian TV serial in the Telugu language >> Read More... ’s Labor’s Lost’ as ‘Rosaline’. 

Gemma was an instant hit and went on to appear in several movies such as ‘Quantum of Solace’, ‘RocknRolla’ in 2008, ‘Clash of The Titans’ in 2010, etc. She played ‘Gretel’ in the 2013 movie, ‘Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters’ alongside Jeremy Renner An independent film prowess that transcended from >> Read More... . She got married to Stefano Catelli on June 5th in 2010. Stefano is a sales manager and the couple now resides in London.
