Born on 7 December 1985, Emily Berrington is an English actress who is widely known but particularly famous among fans for playing Simone Al-Harazi on ‘24: Live Another Day’ and Niska on the television series ‘Humans.’ Both her parents are social workers, and she is the third of four siblings. Berrington was very interested in youth drama but instead chose to pursue a career in politics, hence she started working at the House of Commons for Labour Party MP Siobhain McDonagh of the London constituency.
She later decided politics wasn’t for her and decided to quit. She found the field intimidating and heavily male-dominated. In 2009, she managed to study acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Berrington graduated in 2012. During her stay there, she got a role in the Almeida Theatre's production of ‘ The Look of Love Click to look into! >> Read More... .’ Berrington scored her first acting job in 2013 by playing the role of Clare in the biographical comedy-drama film ‘The Look of Love’, although her role went uncredited. She made her television debut with the character of Jane Shore in the drama series, ‘The White Queen.’
