Bridgette Wilson is an American singer, model and actress. She also won Miss Teen USA title. She started her career in acting after winning Miss Teen USA title in the year 1990. She played the character of ‘Lisa Fenimore’ in the series ‘
’ which was on air during the years 1990-1992. She worked in several movies during the nineties. Later she worked in films like ‘The wedding planner’ and ‘Shopgirl’. Bridgette Wilson married the professional tennis player Pete Sampras and had two sons with him. She was brought up in the coastal town of Gold Beach in Oregon.
Her father’s name is Dale Wilson, and her mother’s name is Kathy Wilson. She completed her education at Gold Beach High School in the year 1991. Bridgette was a part of the volleyball team in high school. At the age of seventeen, she gained the title of ‘Miss Teen USA’ in the year 1990 in Biloxi, Mississippi. After being crowned as the ‘Miss Teen USA’, she started her acting career and acted in the soap opera ‘Santa Barbara’. She then worked in several movies including ‘Billy Madison’, ‘Mortal Kombat’, ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’, ‘House on Haunted Hill’, ‘Buying the Cow’, ‘Extreme Ops’, ‘Shopgirl’, ‘The Wedding Planner’. Wilson also worked in an episode of ‘CSI Miami’.
Bridgette Wilson has also worked in The ‘Rocky Horror Show’. She was one of the judges for the ‘Miss Universe Competition’ which was held in the year 2006. She also featured in the debut album of Tommy Shane Steiner, ‘Then Came the Night’. The song was a hit and reached number 43 on the ‘Billboard Hot Country Songs’ in 2002. Bridgette Wilson married the professional tennis player Pete Sampras on 30th September in the year 2000. She has two sons, Christian Charles Sampras who was born in 2002 and Ryan Nikolaos Sampras who was born in 2005.
