In the age of only 19, Alexandra Evans, also known as Alex Evans, was announced as the Britain’s Next Top Model. She won the title by beating her friend Catherine Thomas. When she was crowned, she had just finished her A-level results. This meant that her bright times had just begun. In the early stages of the competition, Alex was lagging behind because of her inability to walk like a model. “Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I could achieve anything like this.”

These were her exact words after her win. She was born on 18 August 1989 in Cranleigh, Surrey. She moved to London after her big win, breaking her father’s heart but she was excited about the journey that was yet to cover. She wanted to go for journalism if her modeling career hadn’t gone well. But, Journalism was not even an option after her big win. As a reward, she was signed by a modeling agency called Models 1. This agency has previously represented Linda Evangelista, Twiggy, and Amber Valletta. Later, she got into a campaign for Max Factor, a cosmetics brand, which has a worth of 100,000 Pounds.

Her success story didn’t end there. She was seen on Company Magazine’s front cover. In May 2010, she did a television advertisement for Superdrug Barry M makeup. Then in October 2010, she got the television advertisement for Yeo Valley advertising campaign and Nintendo Wii game "Another Code R". In 2013, she made her debut with the Warehouse worldwide campaign 'Style me if you can.’ During this campaign, she also contributed in 9 short films as lead character directed by Danny Sangra.

In 2014, she worked in the big movie, “Dragons of Camelot” which brought her fame, but the movie was a disaster. In her interviews, she revealed a little about her off-camera character and her likes and dislikes. She did English literature, psychology and theatre studies. Despite her big win, she mentioned that her results were very important to her as she was not so sure about the modeling career.

Other than that, she loves to hang out with her girls, go to dinner parties and prefers to stay away from huge parties, especially the ones with the sole purpose of publicity. She mentioned that she likes to be publicised only by her work. She even reveals the fake and edited arguments, on the show, between her and her friends, were merely there because people don’t want to see people being nice to each other.
