Vincent Walsh

Vincent Walsh is an actor known for his various stints in many different TV serials and movies. He was born in Canada but later shifted to Dublin, Ireland. He has been involved in many movies and also TV serials. He is also called by the name of Vinnie or Vin. He is also a great musician, who also writes his songs and is the lead guitarist of the Dublin-based band ‘Jericho Mile.’ He was interested in acting and singing from a very tender age. He worked hard to learn to act and develop his acting skills. He started his career with TV series Degrassi High, where he played the role of Patrick. The role received huge popularity and earned him many other roles. He made his debut with this TV serial in 1989 and had continued to amaze the world since then. He gained a lot of fame during the 90’s, as he appeared in many different movies and TV serials like A Man of No Importance (1994), The Last of High Kings (1996), Chef (1996) and much more. He became a regular face in film and TV industry. He had a subtle way of acting and doing things which helped him gain many fans along the course of his career.

He has been the star of CBC’s many shows including Shattered City: The Halifax Explosion. He has portrayed many great roles on CBC, which has helped him a lot with his acting. He always had different challenges while opting for various roles like when he had to fill the boots of American author Ernest Hemingway in Hemingway vs. Callaghan. He has been active throughout with many great works like Random Passage, Open Heart, Mystic Knight of Tir Na Nog and much more. His role of Mystic Knight in MKOTNN was loved by the audience especially by the kids. He has the partner in Eileen Walsh from 2003 and is blessed with two children. He also featured in the epic 300: Rise of an Empire, where he was the naval officer. Of late, he has been in the TV series The Fall in 2014 and is working on some new projects. He is also known for his work in Saving Private Ryan in 1998 and many such great movies.
