Sikander Malik was born on 16th December 1985 in Nottingham, United Kingdom. He has mostly acted in English films and television shows. He had a keen interest in acting and he used to take part in school performances since the age of five. He completed his education in theatrical through an after school drama society, Nottingham Youth Theatre. Due to his extreme talent, he soon got the lead role by various productions like ‘West Side Story,’ ‘Romeo and Juliet,’ ‘The Nutcracker,’ etc. He practiced a lot to improve his acting skills. Even he spends numerous evenings practicing for rehearsals and spending time with directors, producers, etc. He completed 5A levels at High Pavement Sixth Form College and further decided to take a year out of education and travel to America. While his stay at the United States, Sikander was offered a golden opportunity to work with Sylvester and appeared in MGM produced Hollywood hit film ‘Rocky Balboa.’ Soon after finishing the film, he returned to the United Kingdom and got enrolled at Birmingham School of acting. He took professional training there for three years and gained top honors. On completing his graduation, he worked on many small and even on nonpaid projects. However, in 2010 he tried his luck for the award-winning channel Four UK teen drama ‘Hollyoaks.’ He was to audition for a romantic and a comedic character ‘Jamil,’ and he got the part. Further, in 2012 he decided to leave ‘Hollyoaks’ and tried working for a challenging role, and then he started working with the BBC. Also, he was offered a central role to play in a romantic comedy ‘Long Walk Home.’ The film gathered a huge audience and was one of the few films to be screened among various film festivals. He has participated in various charity events and contributed to various welfare societies, including NHS Blood and Transplant Unit and Save the Family.
