Noh Hong-Chul

The famed Korean comedian/ entertainer, Noh Hong-Chul, is also a well-known entrepreneur. He hailed from Seoul and was born on 31st of March in the year 1979. Noh Hong-Chul is a certified mechanical engineer. He has done his schooling from ‘The Singu Elementary School,’ ‘Sinsa junior,’ and Hyundai Senior High School.’ He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Mapo-Gu district ‘Hongik University.’Later he joined the armed forces for his two-year service, which was compulsory.

Noh Hong- Chul started his own online businesses like online fashion destinations. He has also created a website ‘Nohongchul.com’ as well as a perfect place for purchasing party supplies titled the ‘Dream and Adventurous Hongchul-Land Corporation.’ Hongchul Tour was another business he started to render budget trips around China. At times he accompanies his customers in person, guiding them through their trip.

Noh Hong-Chul did his debut in 2004. His television premiere was broadcast on Mnet when the show named ‘Dr. No’s pleasure Street’ was hosted by him. This was a huge success. Later on, he moved on as a joint critic in the FTA program telecast on MBC, a talk show- ‘Come to Play.’ Comedy being one of is genres, he has also been participating in the largest comedy program Korea has ever seen- ‘Infinite Challenge.’ Muhan Dojeon or the infinite challenge portrayed him as fast speaker.

For the same reason, he was given the nickname of ‘Quick mouth.’ He was noticeably getting popular among the teens- ‘Teen Idol.’ He had also taken up the sponsorship of a commercial for GM Daewoo, Matiz. In this ad, a Matiz car colored red, which is named the ‘Hongcar’ has got his caricatures and pictures made on it. Noh has made a short appearance showing off his ‘jeojil dance’ in the video for ‘Gangnam Style’ by PSY.

This ‘Elevator Guy’ appearance made quite the sensational news that he was invited to a show in the U.S. Yoo Jae-suk nicknamed as the ‘MC of the nation,’ the Korean DJ Park Myeong-Su, Jeong Hyeong-Don, and the South Korean comedian/show host Shin Dong-yup are some of the people who have influenced Noh.

Noh is also known to have made a guest appearance alongside the South Korean actor Jung Jun-mo in the music visual ‘Touch My Body’ by Sister. He is also the chief host in the program ‘I Live Alone.’ he has been awarded many MBC ass well as SBC titles. Noh Hong Chul got arrested on 8th of November 2014 for drunk driving. Later on, he put in an apology letter withdrew from the different television programs he was working with.
