Jaimz Woolvett is a Canadian T.V. and Movie actor was born on 14th April with the zodiac sign of Aries at Hamilton in Toronto, Ontario. He started his career n a sitcom named as “Dog House” which was a story based on a speaking dog. For this cable-T.V. series in 1992, Jaimz got nominated for the Best Young Actor Award. Again in 1999, he got the award for the Best Actor by the Canadian Cinema and Television Academy for “Milgaard.”
The original name of Jaimz is James Woolvett. He grew up in Toronto of Canada. He completed his study of drama and acting from the University and invited by the National Theater School, where he became a graduate. Woolvett has a brother, whose name is Gordon Woolvett, who is also an actor. In the beginning of his career, Jaimz featured in many T.V shows of Canada. But as an actor, he debuted in a Television Film of US in 1985 named as “Maggie’s” as Secret Jason.
In 1992 he started his career as a movie actor in the film “Unforgiven,” which became a lifetime role for him. But the movie got delayed to release. When he saw his career went nowhere in Hollywood, he came back to Canada and appeared in a T.V. Serial “Avonlea.” He also acted in a crime show “Da Vinci’s in Guest.” He performed in some other Canadian mini-series such as “Joan of Arc,” a historical drama in which he became popular in the role of Duke of Burgundy. He has acted more than 35 T.V. shows. Woolvett did the role of a supporting actor in the movie “Global Heresy” in the same year. Woolvett has acted more than twenty Canadian Movies. When his acting in “Unforgiven” acclaimed by the critics and got the Academy award, Jaimz never looked back.
