Giancarlo was born on 1 August, 1942, in Italy. He graduated from Academia Nazionaledi Arte Drammatica. He started his career by the year 1965, as a debut for a movie named, "I Criminali Della Metropolis". After that, he appeared in several supporting roles in many films that introduced him to this field of work. His first appearance on the stage was "Swept Away", in the year 1971. Later, he started to act in several TV shows, and one of them was based on a novel called "The Stars Look Down". By the year 1976, his first award nominating film was released, named "Seven Beauties". His performance in this show was different from all his movies. He also worked as a dubbing artist where he dubbed the voices of several personalities. One of his dubbed movies is called "The Shining", where he dubbed
