The Equalizer Teasers, Trailers & Video Songs
Based on a TV series of the same name, The Equalizer is an action crime thriller about a vigilante dishing out justice to the wrong-doers. Unlike other superhero movies involving ridiculous costumes, this story is about a man with a mysterious past trying to help out the people without a voice. The trailer opens in a diner with Robert McCall, played by Denzel Washington, conversing with a young Russian escort, Alina, played by Chloë Grace Moretz, about a book titled ‘The Oldman and the Sea.’ It later goes on to show his day job working in a hardware store.
The next few scenes give a glimpse of his actual character. When faced with situations that demand his response, he brings back his long hidden skill set. Like how he kills the crook to get one of his co-worker’s ring back to her or sets Alina free from her pimp by killing off the gang all with improvised weapons.
The movie is a typical action thriller, but Denzel Washington’s performance makes it an entertaining film. Also with Antoine Fuqua directing it, it is nothing short of spectacular. Though the reviews are not stellar, the movie is something to see for its dark and compelling storyline, talented actors, and an intriguing screenplay.
