Chris Gorak is a Hollywood film director who started off  his career with production designing and art direction. He is working in the entertainment industry since the 1990s. Starting as an art director and moving on in 2000s, he worked in the field of production designing for several movies and finally became a film director. Chris pursued his graduation in architecture from a private university named Tulane University, which is in New Orleans in the United States. After completion of his architecture study, he changed his field of work to  films. Gorak worked with directors Coen brothers, Terry Gilliam, and David Fincher as an art director for their movies. He first showed his interest in film direction while working as a production designer for the American drama The Clearing released in the year 2004. After this film, the producers of the movie asked him to provide a viable script to work on, so he wrote  the 2006 thriller short film, Right at your Door, which turned out to be his directorial debut.
This movie was based on the impotent act of authorities after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the United States. After this movie, Chris came up with SIS which was a cop drama but unfortunately, it didn’t get released, so in the year 2011, he directed the Russian-American science fiction thriller The Darkest Hour Click to look into! >> Read More... . He wrote a science fiction script Attach in the year 2013 which has been  bought by Paramount Pictures, and he is set to direct it. Apart from this, he is also the member of an American labor union i.e. Art Directors Guild. Amongst his achievements, he has received ADG Excellence in Production Design Award - Commercial, PSA, Promo, Music Videos.
