Karl Walter Lindenlaub, who was born on 19th June, 1957, in Bremen, Germany, is a German cinematographer known for his commendable work in film and television. He graduated from the Munich Film and Television School. He also studied at National Film and Television School in England, and the Royal Film Academy. He has contributed to numerous projects. He made his debut with Hollywood Monster in 1987. He has collaborated a lot with the director Roland Emmerich, gaining him recognition. After starting his career in Germany, he moved to Los Angeles in 1990.
He has cinematographed notable films such as ‘ Independence Day Click to look into! >> Read More... ’, ‘Stargate’, ’The Chronicles of Riddick’, and many more. He began his career with commercials. He has been versatile in cinematography. Some of his TV industry’s notable works include ‘Suits’ (2016), ‘Cosmos: Possible Worlds’ (2020), and ‘Houdini’ (2014). He also won the Emmy Award for the same. He has shot for many genres. He has worked with directors Jan de Bont, Bob Dolman, and many more.
