Timothy Carhart is an American actor. He was born on 24th December 1953. He had recurring roles in “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000–03)” and “24.” Timothy starred in the CBS drama “Island Son (1989–90).” He also performed in the Broadway revival of "A Streetcar Named Desire" in 1992. Pink Cadillac (1989), Thelma & Louise (1991), “Ghostbusters (1984), and Beverly Hills Cop III (1994)” are among his film credits. Carhart (Timothy Grunig) was born in Washington, D.C. He came to Evanston, Illinois, for primary and second education. He visited Turkey's Izmir and Ankara and France's Verdun before returning to the United States to study theater.

Carhart debuted on television as an actor in the NBC miniseries “The Awakening Land,” The show aired in 1978. Carhart appeared as a guest on several television shows in the 1980s. His best works include “Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Miami Vice, and Crime Story.” He also starred in two episodes of “Spenser: For Hire,” a hit crime drama. In "Ursu Minor (1985)," he played Richard in the episode "Tales from the Darkside." Carhart also participated in various science fiction shows, including Quantum Leap, a 1991 time travel series. The show featured renowned actors like Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell. Later that year, in the fifth-season premiere of “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” "Redemption (Part 2)," he played Lieutenant Commander Christopher Hobson.

He also appeared as Virgil Incanto in the episode "2Shy" of the renowned science fiction series “The X-Files” in 1995. Carhart featured in "Strange World, Midnight Caller, Roseanne, The Young Riders, Empty Nest, L.A. Law, Law & Order, and Profiler," among other shows during the 1990s.

He appeared as a guest on “ Criminal Minds Criminal Minds is an American police crime fiction >> Read More... ” in the season 4 episode "Roadkill," as Detective Quinn. The detective requests the BAU's assistance after a string of homicides near Bend, Oregon. Carhart starred in several made-for-TV movies, including “Call Me Anna (1990), Smoke Jumpers (1996), Quicksand: No Escape (1992), Before Carhart Wakes (1998), and America's Dream (1996). He also appeared in two CBS miniseries, “In a Child's Name (1991)” and “Gone in the Night (1996)” during the 1990s.

Carhart featured in four episodes of the hit CBS crime drama “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” between 2000 and 2003. He played Eddie Willows in the series. In 2002, he played Assistant NSA Director Eric Rayburn in a four-episode recurring role on the hit Fox series “24.” Carhart starred in the Academy Award-winning drama “Witness.” He also featured in “Desperately Seeking Susan,” a successful romantic comedy film released in 1985. He appeared in the movie as an undercover narcotics cop who suffered a gruesome murder. Carhart also starred in the drama film “Marie” in 1985.

He showcased his acting skills in “The Manhattan Project, Sweet Liberty, and Playing for Keeps.” In the adventure drama “The Rescue (1988)” and the action-comedy “Pink Cadillac (1989), he played the second male lead. Carhart also starred in the 1988 comedy “Working Girl,” a box office success.
