Stephen Samson

Stephen Samson is a Scottish Actor, Writer, and Director who predominantly works in the Hollywood film industry. He was born on 16 June 1982 in Dundee in the Tayside region of Scotland. Stephen Samson’s parents are Henry Samson and Anne Plummer. The actor has three siblings: two brothers named Holmes Samson and John Samson, and a sister named Sarah Hanmore. Stephen Samson is married to Elizabeth Samson, and together, the couple have a son named Cornelius Samson.

Stephen Samson received his bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He has additionally completed a two year acting course from Telford in 2004. Stephen Samson initially started modeling before going into films. Stephen Samson is a skilled athlete and is proficient in a number of sports, including archery, rock climbing, and rollerblading.

For his role in ‘Time Spent’ (2023), Stephen Samson won the Audience Award at the Around International Film Festival in Amsterdam and the Best Supporting Actor Award at the South Film and Arts Academy Festival.

Aside from his acting achievements, Stephen Samson is a writer and director.  As a writer he has worked on 'Exit Zone' (2023), 'Dead City 2' (2012), 'Dead City' (2010), 'Preston Watson the Flying Scotsman' (2008). Stephen Samson made his directorial debut in 2009 with the film 'The Tartan Horror Story.’ he has since gone on to direct many short films such as 'Exit Zone' (2023), 'The Bad Superhero' (2012), 'Dead City 2' (2012), 'Lift Junkie' (2011), 'Dead City Your Late For Death' (2010).

His commitment to the world of performing arts extends beyond acting, as he seamlessly transitions into the role of a dedicated Personal Trainer when he's not gracing the spotlight. Stephen's artistic talents extend beyond the boundaries of traditional acting, with a multitude of skills that include a strong singing ability, proficiency in physical theater, movement, mask work, improvisation, storytelling, and voice-over work.
