Max Riemelt

Max Riemelt is a very popular German actor who works in both German and Hollywood film and TV industry. Max was born on the night of 7 January 1984, in East Berlin, Germany, and is famously known for his role as Wolfgang Bogdanow on the super-hit Netflix series Sense8. Max basically grew up on movie sets, he began his career in the film industry at the tender age of 13 when he was involved in the production work of the very famous German TV series known as Eine Familie Zun Kassume. In 1997, he starred in the lead role in the TV movie Eine Familie Zun Kassune and thus began his acting career.

He also started making cameo appearances in German techno music videos early in his career. In 2000, he made his debut on the silver screen in a kid’s movie known as Bear On The Run. A very funny and simple story about a friendly bear who befriends a group of children living near the forest. He won the best actors award in 2004 for his film Napola at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and for Der Rote Karadu at the Bavarian Film Festival. In 2017, his film Berlin Syndrome was also shown at the Sundance Film Festival.
