Shen then made her debut in the Hindi telly world with Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki on Star Bharat in 2018. The Bengali beauty was born on 21 September 1992 in Kolkata in the state of West Bengal, India.
She completed her schooling from Dum-Dum High School, Kolkata, followed by graduation in Sarojini Naidu College for Women, West Bengal. She also has a post-graduate degree in dance from Rabindra Bharati University. She is lovingly known as Mithi, Shimontini, Jhil & Jhumko by her fans. Her hobbies include Dancing, Listening to Music, Travelling, and Singing.
