Rooqma Ray

Rooqma Ray is an actress, anchor, and singer who works mainly in the Bengali Language. Rooqma Ray was born on December 31 and brought up in Kolkata. She did her schooling at National High School in Kolkata and attended Basanti Devi College, Gariahat, Kolkata, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Communicative English. Rooqma Ray is a professionally trained classical singer and aspired to become a singer in the future. Also, she is good at mimicking others as her mother is a mimic artist. Rooqma Ray’s journey as an actress began in 2014 when she was still doing her college. She debuted in Star Jalsha’s television series Kiranmala in which she played the title role of Rajkumari Kiranmala.

Based on the folktale Thaurmar Jhuli, the series shows how Rajkumari Kiranmala saves her kingdom from the demon queen.
