Sabyasachi Chakrabarty

Sabyasachi Chakrabarty is a veteran film actor and a proficient theatre artist. Sabyasachi is a Bengali and is also known by the name Benu. He was born in the year 1956, in Kolkata in a conventional Bengali family. He was called by the name Benu affectionately by his parents. Chakrabarty completed his schooling in the year 1975 from Andrew Higher Secondary School, situated in Selimpur in Kolkata. He then moved to New Delhi and joined the University of Delhi. He graduated from this college with a Bachelors degree in Science. This prolific star of West Bengal also loves being involved with photography. His love for nature and animals is equivalent to his passion for acting. He is an avid photographer of the wildlife and has been clicking pictures for a long time. In 1983, Benu became an active member of the Charbak theater group and enhanced his acting skills. He entered the acting profession through the television medium.
