Saptaswa Basu is one of the youngest film directors and producers in Bengal known for "Forever," "Oasis," released in 2013, and "Forlorn." He is the founder of the production house "Neo Studios" and has been producing his films under this banner. Basu pursued Electronics and Communication Engineering, and soon after completing college, he started making feature films. His debut feature film is called "Network."

Additionally, Basu is a writer and editor who has worked for several telefilms and ad films. Basu has an exceptional storytelling style and innovative filmmaking techniques. His films mostly have socio-economic-political subjects. The movie "Jotugriho," of Basu, was shot at remote locations in north Bengal. The content of the film "Doctor Baksh" has a tremendous global appeal and the themes of medical scams are very relatable to the audience and encourage young entrepreneurs and producers. Later, he produced "Lungiman," directed by Asim Akhtar and produced by Sahi Bangla, which explores the concept of cow smuggling.

Basu's movies have always been appreciated by the audience, and he has won multiple awards for his outstanding contributions to cinema.
