Deeptaroop Basu is an Indian actor, musician, singer, and producer. He mainly worked in the Bengali film industry. He lives in Goa, India. The musician is also a DJ and has released a few remixed songs. Basu also releases music with his band Canalion. Basu completed schooling at M. P. Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School. He studied Business Management at Jadavpur University. He also pursued Film Studies at Jadavpur University. Basu is the creative producer of RA Production. This National Award-winning production house makes films, documentaries and music videos. He worked in the sound department as a sound recordist in the film Tasher Ghawr (2020).
