Sauraseni Maitra is an Indian model and film actress, who first appeared as the young Aparna in Bedabrata Pain’s 2012 historical war drama film, Chittagong; a story based on India’s Chittagong Uprising in 1930. She played as Radhika in the 2015 Hindi comedy drama film, Umrika, helmed by Prashant Nair.
She studied at Ballygunge Shiksha Sadan School and later attended Carmel High School for higher secondary education. She studied college at Calcutta University. Sauraseni started her modelling stint at the age of 8.
The very first fashion shows that she attended was the Pantaloons, which also became the most memorable one since it is her first exposure as a ramp model.
