Tasnia Farin

Tasnia Farin is a Bangladeshi model and actress who predominantly appeared in Bengali language television drama, music videos, and short film. She was born on January 30, 1997. Tasnia Farin’s place of birth is Meherpur, north-western district of Khulna, Bangladesh. She completed her primary and secondary education at Holy Cross Girls’ High School in her hometown. After that, she took her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) in Dhaka. She belongs to the Islam religion. Her nationality is Bangladeshi. Her hobbies are travelling, shopping, and watching films. Her mother, Syeda Sharmin was a teacher, while her father, Md. Jamilur Rahmin is a businessman, worked in a private company.

In her childhood days, she trained music under late Khalid Hossain, Ustad Yakub Ali Khan, Karim Shahbuddin, and Moinul Islam. After that, she completed a four-year certificate course in Classical music and Nazrul song at the Nazrul Academy. Several of audio production houses are showing interest to release her song, but she wanted to concentrate on acting. At the will of her mother, she began her career in acting. Tasnia Farin firstly appeared on Grameenphone’s billboard then, she did a number of television commercials. Through which she has gained fame, and earned positive response from people after working on the television drama. In 2017, she marked her small screen debut with her performance in the drama “Amra Abar Firbo Kobe,” directed by Safayet Mansur Rana. Tasnia Farin has worked with a Bangladeshi international cricketer & politician, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza in an advertisement for BKash, a mobile financial service company in 2018.

In June 2019, she has worked in several single dramas for the Eid Ul Fitr. She has also appeared in music videos and short films working with some popular Bangladeshi actors and directors.
