After this Suneeta Sengupta was cast in a Bengali Television series called Antaraley in 1994. The series was produced by Zee Telefilms and followed the genre of a thriller.

Post this, there is not much work that she did, that is known of. However, in the year 2008, she was cast again in the Bengali film Chalo Let’s Go. There was yet another long break that she took before she appeared on the screen again. Harsh Chhaya was doing his directorial debut in 2018, with the Hindi comedy-drama Khajoor pe Atke. Although he had not thought of Suneeta when he wrote the script, he had discussed a few parts of it with her as he was writing it. However, once the script was complete he found out that Suneeta would fit well for the role of Vinay Pathak’s wife. Suneeta thus got the role in Khajoor Pe Atke. Apart from that, she has not been seen much on the screen.

Sunita has done three movie projects. These movies include City of Joy, Chalo Let’s Go, and Antaraley. Sunita’s last movie Chalo Let’s Go was not released at the box office due to some issues. Sunita alongside her husband has been associated with Film Heritage of India. She is fortunate enough to work with veteran actress Shabana Azmi.
