Sayantani Guhathakurta is an Indian actress who primarily works in Bengali cinema. She was born in Kolkata, West Bengal on, November 4th, 1990. She completed her graduation from the "University of Calcutta." "Samantaral," "Hoichoi Unlimited," and "Ek Je Chhilo Raja" are among her most well-known films. Sayantani debuted in South India from "Chikati," a 2019 Telugu-language Adult comedy-horror film. She has also appeared in Hindi and Bengali daily soaps.

Dancing, swimming, listening to music, and watching movies are her hobbies. She belongs to a Hindu Brahmin family. From an early age, she trained in Classical Dance. Sayantani's family originates from the Barisal city of Bangladesh. She lost her father when she was five years old. She received extensive training in the "Thankamani Kutty Gharana," a classical dance genre, and eventually founded her dance company, "Aadrika." She speculated pursuing dance as a career at one point. As a professional dancer, she had participated in multiple reality shows across the country. She debuted as an actress in a Bengali movie, "Mahakash Kando," directed by Nitesh Roy in 2013. The first television serial she featured in was "Kiranmala." Later, she starred in the famous Bengali soap "Jamai Raja," aired on Zee Bangla. Some of her best films include "Game Plan (2016)," "Amar Artanad," "Samantaral (2017)," "Jole Jongole (2018)," "Uma (2018)," "Ek Je Chhilo Raja (2018)," and "Ke Tumi Nandini (2019)." "Ke Tumi Nandini'' and "Kintu Golpo Noy" are two of her most recent films.
