Manasi Sinha is a Bengali actress who was born in Kolkata. Her parents had been divorced, so she grew up with her mother and maternal grandmother. She had been acting in different tele-serials and Bengali films for more than ten years.

She had kept her mark in different types of roles including comedy roles and tragedy roles. She also has appeared reality shows in Television, and she even became the guest judge for a Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program on November 2011. Some of her memorable films include ‘'Golemale Pirit Koro Na'’, “Chupi Chupi” etc. Manasi Sinha is suited to perform the role of mother and bhabhi (sister-in-law) and gain public attention.

Although she is yet to get author-backed mother roles, she enjoys appearing on TV shows regularly. Recently, she appeared in Zee Bangla show Tumi Je Amar Tumi Je Amar is a Bengali drama serial telecast on >> Read More... on April 2014, on the day of Poila Boishakh( New Year Day) where she was chosen as a top celebrity couple along with her husband, Shankha Sinha. The TV show was attended by Bengal superstar and matinee idol Prasenjit Chatterjee. This actress also appeared in some famous TV serials such as ‘Saat Pake Bandha’. ‘Bodhu Kon Alo Laglo Chokhe,' ‘Agniporiksha,' ‘Maa.'

In a Bengali film ‘Abosheshe', she acted as a close friend to Rupa Ganguly. The film had Raima Sen and Dipankar Dey in the cast that focused on a mother-and-son relationship. She had earned critical acclaim for her role in Aparan Sen’s ‘Goynar Baksho’ as in each frame she could perform her character in a detailed manner and which was in fact embedded in the story too.

She also understands mother and son relationship in any films very well and treats those subjects with great maturity. Manasi has not been provided a strong supporting character yet, but her screen presence and acting skill often represents a middle-class lifestyle that goes well with audiences. Manasi is the daughter of Manideepa Roy, a noted Bengali theater actress.
