Souman Bose is an Indian actor majorly seen in Bengali web shows and movies. He was born on 23rd August 1991 in Kolkata, West Bengal. He studied at Baldwin Boy’s High School in Kolkata and completed his schooling at The Heritage School in 2009. He completed his graduation in 2012 with a BSc in Journalism and Mass Communication from the West Bengal University of Technology. He is also an independent writer, director and producer known for off-beat projects like Chain Mail, My Weekends with Colourmen, Webcam Diaries, Doppelgängers, Illusion Enter Void, etc.

He started his career by writing, acting and directing the 2011 horror short film Chain Mail while he was still in college. He has worked in other short films like Guide Gufraan in 2012, Mithye in 2018, and BhalobasarSohor- Bus Stop in 2019. Souman debuted on the silver screen with the film Kash in 2014 where he also co-wrote and directed the film.

The movie received critical acclaim and was chosen for the 5th Bronx World Film Festival in New York in 2015.
