Shyam Laha was an Indian actor known for acting in Bengali and Hindi films. He majorly did comic roles. Laha was born on 26th November 1911 in Kolkata, Bengal. His real name was Kashinath Shil. He is known for his contributions to Sadharan Meye (1948), Sharey Chuattar (1953), and Rajkanya (1965).
He completed his matriculation from Bangabashi Collegiate School. Since his childhood, he has been interested in music, like playing Tabla. Shyam Laha died on 25th October 1973 in Kolkata, West Bengal.
