Abdul Aziz Kunji Markar, popularly known as Aziz Naza, was an Indian Qawaali and Ghazal singer and music director. He was born on 7 May 1938 in the Bombay Presidency to a Malabari Muslim family from Kerala. He passed away on 8 October 1992 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was married to Zubeda Aziz Naza from 1954 to 1978 and Mumtaz Aziz Naza since 1985.
He became a chorus vocalist for the famous Qawwal Ismail Azad's group. After getting recognition as an independent Qawwal, he was associated with The Gramophone Co. Ltd. in 1958. His song- Jhoom Barabar Jhoom Sharabi song spent 20 weeks straight in the top 10 on Binaca Geetmala.
