Bengali Actor Abu Hena Rony

Abu Hena Rony is a comedian and actor of Bangladeshi origin. He was born in Natore, Bangladesh on December 14, 1987. Abu Hena, also known as Dulabhai, is the second of four brothers. Rony began his academic schooling at Akannabigha Primary School. He later completed his secondary education at Bildahar High School and higher secondary education at Barendra Government College. He went on to obtain both his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Drama and Music from Rajshahi University. Since the time he was a child, Abu had a knack for making his friends laugh with his comedic performances.

In July 2011, he participated in the popular comedy show Mirakkel and was able to secure first place in more than half of the first 40 episodes he took part in. His fellow participants began referring to him as Dulabhai due to his impressive comedic abilities. Eventually, he became the champion of Mirakkel Akkel Challenger 6 alongside Vicky and Partha. Aside from comedy, he also ventured into hosting various shows. In 2019, he served as the host for Ha-Show on NTV and went on to host Ajker Ananna on GTV. His acting career began with his debut in the film Swapno Je Tui.

He later starred in Tonmoy Tansen's- Podmo Patar Jol in 2015, and Tom and Jerry. Additionally, he appeared in several television serials such as Kakatuar Deshe and Chatushkon. He has also tried his hand at singing. He had previously sung several songs, and in 2018 he released the song Beche Thakbo Jotodin, Bhalobasbo Totodin, which was uploaded to the YouTube channel Bangla Moulik Gaan. Following his victory in Mirakkel Akkel Challenger 6, Abu published his first book Mirakkel Jokes Lau Thela which was showcased at the Ekushey Book Fair. In 2015, he published his second book, Ananda Tie Mati. Rony has authored several other books such as Hashir Patro, Khatii Bondhu, Buddhir Proshno Mojar Uttor, and School of Comedy.
