After striving there, Mr. Shantilal Mukjherjee changed his work and started working in a construction company. In spite of having to work so hard, he completed his education and graduated from Asutosh College.

He, however, always nurtured a great interest in theatres. This interest in theatres is what got him to where he is now. Despite his heavy work schedule he always made time for theatres, dramas, and plays in his early years and this got him the chance of an audition at Girish Mancha.
