Plot

Madhiyazhagan is an aspiring director. When he wakes up, he finds himself in the room of a girl, who accompanied him in the pub, last night. Before he come out of the shock, he is shocked to see that the girl has been murdered. Madhi, who couldn’t understand what happened, tries to escape from the house. Meanwhile, he overhears the conversation of the neighboring flat people and decides to clear all the evidence that proves his presence in the flat. Did he escape? Watch the exciting thriller in theaters!

Star Performance

As usual, Arulnithi did his best. His expressions and body language are excellent. He reflects well how the aspiring filmmakers would be. On the other hand, Shraddha, the versatile actress, didn’t leave any stones unturned. She has done nice work and impresses the audiences. The rest of the star cast including Yogi Babu, have done their job well.

Analysis

Although the director made us think a lot in some scenes in the first half, if it is worth watching, he finishes off the film in an effective manner. The second half is awe-inspiring. The characterization, the scene setup and the flashback sequence are well designed and work as the anchor for the film. Casting is brilliant and especially, the lead stars’ selection. Sam CS’ BGM is incredible and it adds an extra thrill to the script. Cinematography and editing are fantastic.

What’s There?

Neat script, screenplay and direction
Excellent performance of the stars
BGM is fantastic and so does the visuals and editing
Suspense scenes are perfectly designed

What’s Not There?

Certain scenes in the first half should have been made well

Verdict

Although the film has a lot of plus points, it has some negatives too. If you are a thriller enthusiast, definitely this is an excellent film to watch! Go to theaters with your family and enjoy the psychological mystery action thriller, K 13!
