Plot
Gurunath, aka Guru, is a kidnapper, who follows kidnapping as a business and earns money. Meanwhile, the finance minister, Arumai Nayagam, plans to distribute crores of money to the voters to favor him in the next election. So, he gets equipment from the bank to transfer money. Guru kidnaps Arumai Nayagam as he thinks he is the reason for the death of Guru’s lover. Meanwhile, the equipment, too, vanishes. Gnanodayam is Arumai Nayagam’s father. He seeks ACP Bramma’s help to find his son. Two detectives are involved in the case, making things serious. What happened next? The rest of the film speaks about how the problem is solved and who solves it.
Star Performance
Shiva is the film’s strength. He performs his role well with his witty dialogue and body language. The rest of the stars have done their part well, as suggested by the director.
Analysis
Like Soodhu Kavvum, the sequel has its own positives and negatives. Guru’s character is designed with some professional ethics. Shiva is the right choice for the witty role. Though the performance by

was excellent, Shiva can’t be judged less. A lot of political dialogue were included for those who love that. Though there are some positives, not all the comedy sequences worked out. They don’t like original. Though there are a lot of genres, including political satire, drama, and black comedy, it didn’t work out much. The cinematography is good and the frames are well-made. The music is okay.
