Plot
Krishnan is imprisoned and his release date has been fixed. After knowing about his release, a gang plans to kill him. What’s the reason for their murder plan? Who is Krishnan, and why was he imprisoned? The rest of the story speaks about this.
Star Performance
Samuthirakani’s performance is good. His character doesn’t have any dialogue in the first half and the latter half showcases his acting prowess. Riythvika did justice to the given role. Devadarshini, Ilavarasu, and Mayilsamy performed neatly and Yogi Babu and Ramesh Thilak’s comedy is okayish.
Analysis
The film marks the debut of Rajendra Chakravarthy as a director. The director attempts to provide 3 stories that happen in a day. The first half didn’t have a proper chain of events, as it is a hyperlink story. The film follows a person who is released from the jail, another person who searches for his father, and the widow of an army personnel. Though there are 3 stories linked, Samuthirakani’s portions are impressive and the rest of the stories have been used just to bring a screenplay. The BGM is okay and the songs are good. The film travels mainly in the dark and hence the cinematographer had to put some extra effort to capture the visuals sharply and he has done it to an extent. Certain dialogues are forcedly inserted to make the scene more patriotic. However, it didn’t work out. Certain things are too preachy rather than providing a proper message.
