Kendasampige Movie Review
ORE AST REW
- Duniya Vijay
Sometimes the story of a film will be simple, but the way it is presented is really good. Kenda Sampige is one such film which is presented neatly and director Suri should be appreciated for relying mainly on the presentation, with newcomers as support. This movie has the realistic touch of Duniya and Inti Niina Preetiay.
Plot: Though this film is also a love story the way it is shown is indeed outstanding. It is of a thriller genre. Nevertheless, there is a artistic feel to every frame. At the outset the movie has a simple love theme. The lead pair is in love and the girl’s mom doesn’t appreciate this; she even goes to the extent of seeking the help of a police officer, but the twist of the story is how the boy gets trapped in several crimes. There is also a different plot to this story which is shown simultaneously.
It can very well be said that Kendasampige has been one of the appreciable movies of Sandalwood of late. The director has made all the actors perform well. The dialogue delivery of the newbies deserve appreciation. Prakash Belvadi has once again proved (after Aatagara) that he can brilliantly enact his role. Rajesh Nataranga is acceptable as a good assistant police officer.
The technical team has delivered their best. Satya Hegde’s camera work is exemplary and several locations are shown from good angle. The visual effect is at par with Hollywood. Also, the music and background score are above average. Jayant Kaikin’s and Yograj Bhat’s lyrics are penned well and are treat to the mind’s eye. Editing maintains the movie’s pace in a fast manner. The director has not only relied on the commercial elements; he has also given a tinge of artistic touch.
Verdict: A must watch film for its outstanding presentation. The director should be appreciated for making extracting stellar performances.
