This is a list of the top 10 Indian films with the highest budget in 2022.

1. RRR

It is a tale of two legendary revolutionaries and their journey away from home. They later join the fight against the British colonists in the 1920s. The film stars N.T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt. S.S. Rajamouli directed this film. The film had a budget of Rs. 550 crores.

2. Ponniyin Selvan: I

The film adaptation of Ponniyin Selvan by Mani Ratnam was first intended to be a stand-alone film. Later in the production phase, Mani Ratnam divided it into two parts. The film was shot in different locations such as Tamil Nadu, Hyderabad, and Thailand. The film had a budget of Rs. 500 crores.

3. Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva

This is a film by Ayan Mukerji. In this film, a young man is on the brink of falling in love. However, his world gets turned upside down when he discovers that he has the power to control fire. He also discovers that he has a connection to a secret society of guardians. This movie has a budget of Rs. 410 crores.

4. Laal Singh Chaddha

Laal Singh Chaddha is a film by Advait Chandan. It is adapted from Forrest Gump. In this film, a man with a disability undertakes a journey, meeting many friends along the way. The film had a budget of Rs. 180 crores.

5. Samrat Prithviraj

Samrat Prithviraj is a film by Chandaprakash Dwivedi. In this film, Prithiviraj Chauhan is targeted for offering Mir Hossain protection from his brother Muhammad Ghori. The film had a budget of Rs. 175 crores.

6. Gangubai Kathiawadi

Gangubai Kathiawadi is a film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In this film, after being duped and sold to a brothel, a young woman takes control of her life. She utilizes her underworld connection to rule her surroundings. The film had a budget of Rs. 166 crores.

Shamshera is a film by Karan Malhotra. In this film, a slave fights tirelessly to free a deceitfully imprisoned warrior tribe from a ruthless general. The film had a budget of Rs. 150 crores.

Valimai is film by H. Vinoth. In this film, a city witnesses a spike in its crime rate. This spike is due to the nefarious activities of a notorious motorcycle club. When things get disorderly, Arjun, a police officer, steps up to restore law and order. The film had a budget of Rs. 150 crores.

Beast is a film by Nelson Dilipkumar. In this film, a former RAW agent is held hostage by a terrorist organization in a mall. The RAW agent, Veera, must face his fears when the terrorists demand the release of their leader, who was captured by Veera. The film had a budget of Rs. 150 crores.

10. K.G.F: Chapter 2

Rocky's name strike fear among all the members of the bloodstained Kolar gold mines. He gathers his allies to battle threats and defends his supremacy. Actor Yash is the hero of the film. Other actors like Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Srinidhi Shetty also starred in this film. Prashanth Neel directed this film. The film had a budget of Rs. 100 crores.
