Anal Arasu is a heat amidst the stunt coordinators in the cine industry. He is known to us as the fight master or the action master who performs various stunts in the movies of Indian languages like Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and much more. This simple man was born in Chennai and has dedicated his entire life, literally and figuratively in performing stunts as a coordinator in the movies. His initial times were quite hard. His source of inspiration to become a stunt master is his father C.M. Arasu, who has also performed in numerous movies in the 1980s. He made his debut in the film “Chathrapathy.’ He then worked with Prabhu Deva for the action films like Vedi (2011) and Rowdy Rathore (2012).

He yielded great success and satisfaction as a stunt coordinator and can therefore be called an “action man.” He has choreographed a lot of films as stunt master. Here are some of the films he choreographed in, ‘Chathrapathy’ in 2004, Arul in the same year, Jithan and Raam in 2005, Baba Kalyani and Jambhavan in 2006, Singakutty, Thenavettu and few more in 2008, Rowthiram in 2011 and much more. The amount of dedication and passion as a stunt coordinator that he has put in is tremendous. He has choreographed actions and stunts in more than 80 films in Indian languages. He has also been awarded with several prizes and recognitions so as to soothe his hard work as a stunt master.

Few of his awards are, ‘Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Stunt Coordinator’ for Karuppusamy Kuththagaithaarar in 2007, ‘AnandaVikatan Award for Best Stunt Choreography’ for Naan Mahaan Alla in 2010, ‘Behindwoods Gold Medal for Best Stunt Choreographer’ for Singam II and Pandiya Naadu in 2013 and he has also received the ‘Vijay Award for Best stunt director’ for Singham in 2010 and the list goes on. He has given his best to become one of the best stunt directors of the film industry. He has viewed his life in a different pattern and shown himself to the world in a different style. His works still continue in the cinema industry. He was also nominated for the Film fare awards but soon to hit it.
