Pradeep Kumar Vijayakumar

Pradeep Vijay is a Tamil and Telegu playback singer. He sang many Indian hit songs and the audience liked them. He also sang three songs which hit the top charts in the southern part of India. Pradeep Vijay also got the opportunity to sing for one of the Rajnikanth's movie. Not only that, from his childhood days he had a keen interest in singing and decided to pursue his career in the industry. Moreover, his dedication and efforts have been a key for his success in the music industry. Pradeep Vijay started singing at a very early age and also performed stage shows during his initial days.

In 2012 a Tamil film was released called Pizza, one of its famous song was sung by him. It was his first biggest break, and he also composed and sang Mogathirai song.The film Pizza was so unexpectedly upon supernatural horror-thriller genre starring Kollywood (Tamil) actors Remya Nambeesan and Vijay Sethupathi in the major roles. The movie hit the box office like crazy; the total budget of the film was Rs. 15 million and earned Rs. 180 million. The lyricist for the song Mogathirai is Kabilan. Also, he sang Naa Cheli for the same movie which was liked by many people.

In 2010 he got once in a lifetime opportunity to sing a song for the film having Rajnikanth in it.  The Movie- Enthiran (Robot) released on 1st October 2010 starring Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the central roles. One of the songs called Chitti Dance Showcase was sung by Pradeep Vijay. The movie was a science fiction film, and the director and co- writer was S. Shankar and Sujatha Rangarajan. It was expectedly a super hit at the box office; also it was in the top-earning films of 2010. The motion picture was made with the total budget of Rs. 1.32 Billion and earned Rs. 2.90 Billion worldwide for both Tamil and dubbed version of the film.

The soundtrack was composed by A.R.Rahman. The song Chitti Dance Showcase received much appreciation from the critics and the audience worldwide. Also, he sang a song called Edho Edho, and in 2016 he was the composer and singer of the song called "Inaivom -Uyirellam Ondre." for the movie Maaveeran Kittu. He got nominated for Vijay Awards for Best Male Playback Singer. Vijay Awards are the annual award-giving ceremony for the Tamil (Kollywood) Movies. The award ceremony started in the year 2007.

Pradeep Rangaswamy Kumar was born on May 12, 1986. He is a singer and a music director from India who has worked in Tamil films. He started his career in the 2010s as a Carnatic musician, and collaborated with composers like Santhosh Narayanan and Sean Roldan on a regular basis. He grew up in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. His mother, Lalitha Vijayakumar, taught him Carnatic music through private tutoring and a public school in their vicinity. Later, he featured as the playback singer for Tamil movies through the Santhosh Narayanan film Attakathi.

Later, he started to study music, under J. Venkataraman of the Aalathur School of Music. Venkataraman became his music guru. He pursued a diploma in audio engineering, which also taught him more about sound composition. In 2003, he visited Chennai to participate in a contest organized by a Carnatic Music Studio. K. Shashikiran from Carnatica heard him sing and asked him to stay in Chennai. From 2003-05, he stayed in Chennai to work with Carnatica. After his apprenticeship with Augustin Paul, he later acquired a subtle understanding of Western classical music. He also worked as an audio engineer for some years.

In 2014, he participated in a documentary called Arunagiri Perumale, in 2014 It was a recording of a live concert by an Indian trio and a 16-member chamber symphony in Boston. He described the company as his "favorite project" and relied on crowd-funding to complete it before 2017. He married Kalyani Nair, who was also a singer. In 2015, Pradeep received the Best Tamil Male Playback Singer Award for the song Aagayam Theepidicha from Madras at the Filmfare Awards South, South Indian International Movie Awards, and Vijay Awards.
