Jennifer Lame

Jennifer Lame, also known as Jennifer or Jen Lame, was born in the United States. She studied at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, from 2000-04. Jennifer has been active as an American film editor since 2005 and worked at Spot Runner Inc. from 2005-06. She started to work at Showtime Networks as an Assistant Editor in August 2008. Thanks (2009), an assistant editor in The Philanthropist (2009), Rubicon (2010), 30 Rock (2011), Almost Perfect (2011), Smash (2012), a second assistant editor in The Lovely Bones (2009), and an additional editor in De Palma (2015), Midsommar (2019), Judas and the Black Messiah (2021), Don't Worry Darling (2022) and Blonde (2022). She has also edited the documentary titled Looking at the World in a New Way: The Making of Tenet (2020).

She won the 2021 Washington DC Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) Award in the Best Editing category and the Jury Award in the Best Film Editing category at the 2021 Discussing Film Critics Awards for Tenet. She received nominations for Best Editing at the 2019 Odyssey Awards, the 2021 Hawaii Film Critics Society (HFCS), the 2019 St. Louis Film Critics Association (SLFCA) Awards, US, the 2021 San Diego Film Critics Society (SDFCS) Awards, the 2019 Satellite Awards, and the 2020 American Cinema Editors, USA, for Marriage Story.
