Jayachandran is the father of Harikrishnan, Jayasudha, Balasudha, and Ajayan. Sooraj is a family friend, and Bala and Sooraj are in love with each other. Sooraj’s sister, Preethi, is Bala’s close friend. Bala’s marriage was fixed with Sooraj. In a turn of events, Jayachandran loses his wealth and has to move to a rented house. Hari has to move abroad to earn. Bala and Sooraj’s marriage gets cancelled. Disheartened Bala, tried to end her life, but was saved. Soon, Bala’s marriage was fixed with Venu. After marrying Venu, she learned that Venu and her brothers have alcoholism. Her co-sister warns Bala about them and their mother-in-law, the root cause of all the happenings. Venu is a psychotic fellow who suspected Bala and abuses her verbally and physically. He even says ill about her to her relatives too. Venu moves to Pune, where he works, leaving Bala. After he leaves, Bala moves to her parents’ house, where she is not received well as a result of Venu’s complaints. What will be Bala’s decision? The rest of the show deals with Bala’s life.
