This will be one of the final movies released under the banner of Disney+ Hotstar, before the platform officially merges with JioCinema.

The movie stars Ponvel M, Raghul R, Kalaiyarasan, Nikhila Vamal, Karnan Janaki etc. in the prominent roles. The plot is inspired by events that Mari Selvaraj himself experienced in his childhood. The movie had released on 23^rd August 2024.

Contrary to expectations, the movie turned out to be extremely successful, outperforming films like ‘ Thangalaan Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ and even ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s ‘The Greatest of All Time’. Made on a mere budget of 5 crores, the movie has earned approximately 40 crores worldwide, making it ‘superhit’ at the box office.
