He has twin daughters in this serial and he hates them, as they are girls. Complete negative role done by him in Metti Oli, which is turned in to a positive role gradually. All the credits go to Thirumurugan, the director who polished the character well. Rajkanth has also acted in the serial Muhurtham as an Inspector of Police and Nambikkai as an old man. Ponnoonjal is his current venture. He is willing to do more roles that reveal his acting talent. He has acted in the film Amaithipadai 2 along with Sathya Raj. He came to Chennai in the year 1989 and approached director Bharathi Raja for acting. He is married and got a son. His son is doing his eleventh standard now. He is interested in music and dance.
