Chandralekha is a famous name in the South Tamil Industry. She has worked with many famous producers and singers. She started to get fame after Chandralekha's debut, a Malayalam song which was for the yet-to-be-released film . David Shawn wrote the song Kankalaaloru, which she sang. "My next collaboration with Shawn was in Tamil for a song written by Vairamuthu sir. That, too, was a fantastic experience." She also got a chance to work with late music composer Shaan Johnson.
She remained out of the public eye for a few years following her initial stint in the spotlight. Chandralekha, who just recorded a duet with M G Sreekumar for her latest song, talks to us about her new endeavor, the purposeful break, and more.
