It shows a Bollywood star in interaction with youngsters who have achieved something in life and work to bring awareness about HIV/AIDS.
The BBC World Service Trust, along with Doordarshan and NACO, has come up with a music video that is presented on the channel, the lyrics of which have been written by Javed Akhtar. Every week, an individual who had made a significant contribution to raising awareness of HIV and AIDS - known as a 'Yuva star' - would join their favorite film star on Haath Se Haath Mila. While the show will focus on the personal and professional lives of the youths throughout three episodes, the Yuva stars will also be able to meet their favorite Hindi film stars and create awareness about the virus with them.
