Aftab Shivdasani

Aftab Shivdasani is an actor and producer of Indian film industry. He is known best for his humouristic characters in comedy flicks like MASTI, KYA KOOL HAIN HUM and GRAND MASTI. He is 37 years old, born on June 25th, 1978 in the glamour city Mumbai, Maharashtra.

His father’s name is Prem Shivdasani and mother is Putil Shivdasani. They are basically from Sindhi origin. Afsana Shivdasani is his elder sister. Aftab Shivdasani is ready to do any character. He has worked in more than 32 films and did many advertisements. He came to the film line in 1987 as a child artist in the movie MR. INDIA, the movie was a blockbuster and his acting also was appreciated by Indian audiences. When he was just 10 years-old he started performing in movies because of his good looks and active nature. Consecutive 5 years he acted as a child artist in  5 super hit movies like MR.INDIA, SHAHENSHAH, CHAAL BAAZ, AWWAL NUMBER and INSANIYAT.

In the year 1999, he made debut as a leading actor with the movie MAST. It was a super hit and Aftab grabbed an award for the best male debut at the Zee Cine Awards. The success as a leading hero created many opportunities for him. He started doing advertisements and started hosting many award functions.

In 2001, he came with a movie KASOOR and he played a role of Villain and this multi-talented personality got nominated for his villain character also by Filmfare Best Villain Award and Zee Cine Best Villain Award.

Aftab gave so many hit films to the industry. Few of them are AWARA PAAGAL DEEWANA in 2002, MASTI in 2004, DEEWANE HUYE PAAGAL in 2005, PLAYERS, GRAND MASTI and many more. He is also a co-producer of AAO WISH KAREIN in 2009 with Santosh Mohanty.
