Ayub Khan is a famous Indian Film and TV actor who came from the family of “Pathan” actors and actresses. He was born on February 23, 1969. He was the son of the Indian and Pakistani actor, Nasir Khan who was also the brother of the actor, Dilip Kumar. His mother is the Hindi Film Actress, Begum Para, aunt of actress, Amrita Singh. Ayub acted in more than 20 films in his film career that started in the year 1992 and has done many television shows. Ayub was married to Niharika Khan, a Bollywood Costume Designer, known for her famous work in the musical film, “ Rock On!!” and the biographical film, “ The Dirty Picture”. The couple met while in college but when Niharika went abroad to study, she got married to another guy. After more than a decade of her marriage, Niharika divorced her first husband and got married to Ayub Khan. They are blessed with two daughters, Tahura and Zohra Khan.

Ayub debuted in the Hindi film, “Mashooq” released in 1992 along with Ayesha Jhulka. Some of his films include Meri Aan, Salaami, Sanjay, Jeeo Shaan Se, Jaane Jigar, Chehraa, Mela, Dil Chahta Hai, Kitne Door, Woh, Kuch To Gadbad Hai, Revati, Zamaanat, Toh Baat Pakki!, Yeh Dooriyan and many more.

Ayub acted in very few lead roles and yet it he had made positive impact on the viewers. He also tried his luck in production and got reasonable success. He was the producer of the Bollywood film, “Mahaanta” in 1997 and “Atishbaz”. He was also seen acting in many popular television serials like the “Apaharan”, “Trikon”, “Karishma”, “ Muskaan”, “ Piya Bina”, “ India Calling”, “ Jeete Hain Jiske Liye”, “ Rakhi – Ek Atoot Rishte Ki Dor”, “ Dil Se Diya Vachan”. Ayub received many awards mostly for his acting in Uttaran. He got the Favorite Bhai-Behen Rishta Award at Zee Rishtey Awards in 2007 for his role in Rakhi – Atoot Rishtey Ki Dor. In 2010, he won the Best Supporting Actor Male Critics at Zee Gold Awards, Best Actor in a Drama Series at Apsara Awards, Best supporting Actor Male Popular at Indian Telly awards, and Best Supporting Actor at Indian Television Academy awards for his role in Uttaran.
