Bengali Tv Serial Kusum Dola

Kusum Dola is a Bengali series that started airing on Star Jalsha on 22nd August 2016 and went off air on 2nd September 2018.

Imon is a short-tempered, yet kind-hearted girl, who has dreams of becoming a doctor. Her father, Jayanta, is a police officer in Sundarpur. If Imon had to go to medical college, her father had to accompany her to Kolkata, and hence he decided to take a voluntary retirement. Meanwhile, a local goon, Gogna, follows Imon and compels her to marry him. Following this, Jayanta arrests him, but was compelled to release him after Akhil, a local politician, orders him. As Akhil’s goons disrupt the normal life in Sundarpur, Jayanta files a request to the higher authorities to post an IPS officer to Sundarpur. Meanwhile, Ranojoy, an IPS officer, falls for Roopkatha, while he was on a trip to Jaisalmer. Although they are in love with each other, they didn’t confess it. They believed that they would meet in the near future. Rano gets posted to Sundarpur, upon Jayanta’s request. He controls the goons, and the village is peaceful. As his brother’s marriage is fixed, Rano leaves for his place. He is shocked to know that Roopkatha’s marriage is fixed to his brother. As he doesn’t want to break his brother’s marriage, he promised Roopkatha that he would remain a bachelor. Meanwhile, Gogna started his game, as Rano is out of station. He kidnaps Jayanta and Imon, and threatens them to kill, if Imon refuse to marry him. Finally, they were saved by Rano, as the villagers called him through the phone, and explained to him the situation. So, Rano leaves his brother’s marriage and goes to Sundarpur to save the father and daughter. Although he saved them at that time, he couldn’t save Jayanta from Gogna’s gun, in another incident. What happens next? What’s Imon’s condition? Was she able to do medicine?
